Beyond The Canvas is more than an art gallery - it is a cultural bridge between Pakistan’s creative soul and the North American imagination. Founded by Mohammad Umar Khan, a Canada-based businessman and realtor, and Abbas Mumtaz, a Pakistani poet, broadcast journalist and anchor, this initiative reflects their shared vision to project Pakistan’s soft power through the universal language of art.
Their effort breathes new life into the global art scene by introducing the profound work of Wasi Haider, one of Pakistan’s most distinguished contemporary painters. His creations - ranging from abstract expressions and meditations on time and space to calligraphy and human faces - transcend boundaries of culture and geography.
Each canvas showcased here is a dialogue between tradition and modernity, emotion and intellect. BEYOND THE CANVAS celebrates Pakistan’s artistic brilliance and its power to connect hearts across continents - where color becomes language, and art becomes diplomacy.
